Latif Bolat

Last weekend, my daughter and I went to see a really cool trio from Turkey called Latif Bolat . They do music from the ancient and mystical past in the Middle East, as well as doing a little history of the music and the culture. It was very entertaining and very informative. We are sooo lucky to have an active cultural society here in the north of nowhere. They had a guest dancer at this performance, doing the dances of a "whirling dirvish" and that left me simply dumbfounded that anyone could keep up twirling like that for so long! He never missed a beat!! Their website is equally informative and well written. The trio is currently residing in New Mexico, so if you have a chance to see them, we highly recommend it!!!

If you do, then give this trio a try! They were really wonderful! They are currently touring, so maybe you will be lucky enough to have them come to your area, too.

Cool! You have a Harley! I love riding, too, although I haven't been on one since I got pregnant with my oldest. A Looong time ago...
What was the mall of the Americas like? Does it seem as big as I have heard it is inside? That would be a trip!
