My daughter graduated from college this month, and I was pleased as punch to see her take that walk to get her sheepskin! I don't know where she is headed from here, but I know she will excel no matter what it is.
It is so nice to have a bit of time to myself now that classes are over for the summer. I did learn a ton in my classes, and that is always a good thing, but I really need a break for a while! Of course, next month I'll be missing it all again... I Did manage to make a mold that created the end result that I wanted, yeah! I was really proud of this little cat. It took 16 seemingly endless weeks to get here. And for better or for worse I got an "A" in my creative writing course. Not that I will be the next great writer of the decade, but you never know, either! I just have to sit down and write that Pulitzer prize winning novel, now.
I hope everyone enjoys their summer as well!

Yay! for your Daughter and for you! Good job on your project. I assume you went from sculpting to molding in that 16 week time frame. Nice work!
Hope to have some warmth soon, kinda feeling a little cheated on the spring, maybe we will get an indain summer to make up the difference. Be well, GB
Hello,
I am very proud of this girl, let me tell you! The class I took was strictly mold making, all kinds of them. I learned so much there! Now I can recreate almost anything I sculpt, in any form I want: ceramic, bronze, wax, or plaster. The last mold was the most complicated, and had 3 pieces that all fit together without leaking, so I was very happy.
woo hoo!
