My daughter, the budding photographer
My daugher took these pics when we walked to the beach yesterday. Welcome to our neck of the woods!
Yeah, isn't it wonderful! Amanda has a real talent for her age, and can do just about everything well. I wanted to celebrate her new interest with the rest of the world. I am by no means a photographer, just a dabbler, but I have fun at it anyway. Someday I really do hope to get to your level of skill. Thanks for continuing to come to my site!!
Hey Ocean, Yeah, they are wild, and they are one of the reasons I love it so much here, despite hellish allergies... Celtic, I actually thought you were closer to the beach~~ We are very lucky to live about a mile from the beach in a couple of different directions. Hello Vee, I hope that you get to go somewhere you love to go over the summer, and that You have someplace beautiful to get away from it all close to your home! Thanks everyone for looking! I'll tell Amanda that everyone likes her photos, she will be thrilled.
Hi everyone! Thank you for the wonderful comments. For those who were wondering the iris is Iris innominata and the others are Lupinus chamissonis. I had fun playing with our camera and can't wait to go out and try again. -amanda
I am about one hour from the coast...lovely drive though! We just don't get away much during Irish Dance season which is....uh...all year except August! *laugh*

Thank you! It has been a real experience. I am starting summer semester on the 26th, guess I can't get it out of my system.
Besides, I am going for that bachelors's degree, and I have a couple of classes to finish up before I head to the university.
