2014/365 Day challenge, day 2

Well, it has been a long day, and while this doesn't look like much, it is the beginning of the beginning. I haven't sculpted in 6 months or more, so I thought I'd start out simply. I did a small cat back then, and over the course of its creation, it was broken in the kiln. I really liked it, so this is an attempt to re-create it, early in progress. This is paper clay, that is why it is mottled. No eyes yet. Thank goodness there isn't a time limit. My next round of ceramic classes begin on the ninth, so maybe it will be done by then.
